I have changed, I am not the same person I used to be.  It took someone to tell me bluntly and an college interview for me to notice this.  Today I went with my mother to the college to fill out a few registration papers before I start nursing.  I don’t usually notice the differences between my mother and I, but today I did.  I noticed them today especially not because we were dressed differently or acted differently than we usually do, it was simply because the college representative was watching.  You see yourself differently when someone else is watching.  I have changed.  Goodbye old self this self has a future.
